Wa alaikumussalam There is no no comparison b/w these two as there is w benifits of eyes and nose. both have different sort of SAWAB. however if nobody offers Etikaf in a town then offering Etikaf would be preferable.

Conventional banking and prize bonds

DEAR SIR!
My name is Danish and I want to ask you about the BANK Job. My CHACHA (Father Brother) is working on a Bank since 20 Years ago. Now, I am become TABLIGHI and I heard that BANK JOB is Haraam for all.
So, whats your FATWA on this? My CHACHA said that If I leave this JOB so, how will my home run and what about my SON?
What will happen?
2nd Question:
Whats your FATWA about the PRIZE BOND of BANK? My CHACHA said us that it is not HARAAM. Its just your LUCK?

Answer of 1st Question:
1. Conventional banking majorly based upon interest based transaction and it is the worst sin mentioned in Quran. Moreover a hadith quotes: May Allah make the person who eats interest n who provides it n even who writes the document away from his mercy. Another Hadith quotes: the flesh build by HARAM is suitable to go Hell. So due to so many Aayaat and Ahadith working in a conventional bank and nourishing children through it is strictly prohibited.
2. Islam has not restricted all fields on Muslims; it restricts only some of them to avoid individual and social detriments. Your uncle himself selected wrong field.
3. However if he offers Istigfar, Allah will accept it n Islam will have several solutions for him. He can join non interest based banking or he can serve for any other company or state bank. Though it may vary your lifestyle but sacrificing here will protect you hereafter insha Allah.
Answer of 2nd Question:
Prize bond is Haram. It’s a combination of Interest and Gamble (jua). Gamble is totally a game of luck but Allah Ta`alla prohibits it in Quran.How can we say it Halal due to such apparent reasons.

Obeying Islam only when somebody criticizes

today i shall describe my question in urdu, so that i can explain it easily.
" meri nature he kh mujhe agr koi kisi gunnah ke kam se mana kr de to me us se ruk jata hun agerch mujhe us gunnah ka phle se pta ho. kisi ki bat krne ke bad mujhe us gunnah ke mutaliq ALLAH {S.W} ka khof bi bhut ata he. for example music ka mujhe shuru se pta tha kh yh ghalat he per kisi ne phle mana nai kia islye sunta rha per jis din aik friend ne mana kia usi din se aj tak nai suna, is bat ko 6 month hone wale hen. pta nai meri yh adat sahi he ya ghalat?? laikin me kafi koshish ke bawajod is se chutkara nai hasil kr saka. jis gunnah se me khud rukna chahun us se itna pakka nai ruk pata jitna agr koi mujhe us se rook de tub rukta hun. mujhe khud bi lagta he kh yh adat ghalat he per lagta he yh meri nature ka hissa ban chuki he.
mera sawal yh he kh agr me apni mother ko khun kh woh mujh me agr koi gunnah ka kam daikhen to us se mujhe mana kr diya karen to kia yh sahi he kiyun kh usually yhi hota he kh parents aik certain age tak mana krte hen us ke bad bus generally khte rhte hen. laikin me chahta hun kh woh mujhe naam le kh mana karen to i believe kh me us se ruk jaon ga. kia aisa krna shai he ya gunnah se sirf apni will-power se hi ALLAH ka khof rakhte hoe rukna chahye?? "

The main thing is to obey Islam. Normally we have two ways. As a human is asked to stop doing crimes by his will power, he is also asked to say:''Labbaik!'' and accept when someone preach him. So both are different and good qualities.If u feel easy in 2nd way you may ask your mother or any one to criticize your acts clearly. similarly when you read some book, letter or Email, Imagine that the writer himself is preaching you so that you acquire the same effect u need. Mentionable thing is that you should create Islahi Ta`alluq with any renowned Sheikh, bcaz it based on the same theory.
